Srirangapatna station new track ligation is just delayed because of the lag in platform work. Pf works are almost completed now especially the FOB. We can hear the press release of non interlocking works in anytime soon.
Also pandavapura to chandagirikoppal electrification (wiring) is on full swing. Wiring in progress between pandavapura and srirangapatnam. Laying of poles in 1.7km left out stretch between yeliyur and byadarahalli is complete only in SBC MYS line

I believe 12007/08 shatabdi would be the first one to get alloted an e loco. Later 16021/22 kaveri, 12577/78 darbhanga, 22681/82 Chennai SF weekly and HWH mys SF. If SWR is Keen it could also start e loco with chamundi and others playing between SBC and MYS. Fingers crossed !!

Malgudi might get e loco as it comes with the same. I doubt for tippu because it comes with EMD from DWR. Although loco change is also possible in SBC for this train. Many passengers would be converted to MEMU. SBC to MYA is FEDL now. CRS inspection was also done upto yeliyur. There was some news about extending MEMU to mandya but once I heard SWR was thinking about running MEMU upto PANP. We have to wait and see

Nonono. The stretch is not yet linked with the existing line. New station of srirangapatna is nearing completion. Tracks laid over the new station with two new platforms and tracks over the 3 bridges are also laid. Just the shifting of existing line over the new line is yet to done. It will be done once FOB works over the station gets completed

Electrification is going on at full pace now. Now wiring has been taken up from naganahalli station also. Simultaneously both PANP and NHY are taken up leaving S in the middle.

In Mysore pole laying is not completed towards SBC side. Wiring started in NHY may progress towards MYS. By then pole laying would have been completed. Also PANP wiring would be continued towards NHY through S. also not to forget 3-4kms unwired stretch between Y and BDRL. BDRL pole laying is incomplete yet

Tracks are laid completely including all the three bridges. Just the linking is left behind. Paving works are complete. Provision of sitting and water facility are also done. FOB work is left. And also RUB works on the cauvery north side

Mys JP runs via kurnool town. If it gets e loco between MYS to GTL loco change needs to be done at 3points in the entire journey. It is less of a chance. But it is an option though. If SWR decides to run all trains with eloco between MYS and SBC then JP SF is a good one to include

So considering SWR's interest in its history I don't think commissioning will be done by this year end at all

Sir I have witnessed non Shatabdi trains like tippu, Jaipur SF hitting 110kmph in RMGM-BID and in some stretch of PANP-MYA. Also I have witnessed Shatabdi hitting 110 in d same section. Speed restrictions should to removed at many places in the MYS-KGI section so as to ensure uniform speed and reducing the travel time.
