Railways had announced speeding up of trains and reducing running time. I think they need to look at examples like this where a 75 km takes 2 hours to cover despite a clear path. SR/TVC division never seem to attach any importance to speed.
16381 in its new time table has been allotted almost 2 hours time between Thrissur and Ernakulam which is ridiculous

should not be very crowded.. most of the daily commuter and passengers take MAS-MAQ Mail that runs ahead of 22149 which also have additional stoppages..

That was an extra special coach(3A) for a group booking from Pune to MAO... I was in the train on the same day from Pune to CLT...
