Sorry brothers, the problem is solved. Looks like the train from kolkata to njp enterned parts of bihar enroute so roaming got activated. Thanks for responding.

Go back to your class 12 physics book and read the difference between 3 phase motors and 3 phase supply

The supply is single phase but its converted to 3-phase by using delta shaped inductance converters. If supply was 3 phase then there would have been 3 wires in the OHE and 3 separate pantographs.

Okay, lets look into the photo once again. Its clearly mentioned 'single phase supply' under sub heading of horse power & VOLTAGE. Why one would put motor type under voltage ? (Common sense ? ) Read carefully before jumping into conclusions ... This is right or that is wrong.
No trial of 205 or so is conducted. It has been tested on tracks upto 184 kph
