Doonites, hundreds of Govt employees staying in Dehradun and thousands of tourists taking this train to/from Airport will have a very tough time now. Like Court interfered in conversion of MAS Garib Rath into Humsafar and later on cancelled it, this way could save Nanda Devi aka Rajdhani Exp for Doonites. At least, local public, MP's and MLA's could unite and can make a protest to this decision. Railways have revoked such decisions in several states following public protest.
