Check out my post from the last 2 years...I kept saying that BJP MPs in Midnapore, Bankura, Bishnupur haven't done anything...now look, BJP lost in Midnapore and Bankura...they barely won in Bishnupur with just a few votes. The BJP MP from Bishnupur only took some initiative a couple of months before the election to start the work on connecting the Bankura-Masagram route with the HBC line. They just managed to win this time. If they don't do anything in the next 5 years, they'll lose. Midnapore, Bankura, Bishnupur, Purulia - all these areas need development, especially the railway connectivity is very poor in the Adra division...I mainly talk about railway issues on this platform. BJP had the opportunity in the last 10 years but didn't do anything. Now let's see what happens in the next 5 years.

It was a really sad situation. One of the worst accidents in Indian Railways history. What happened to the 24 coaches? Only 1 general seating coach of train 12864 is at the Kharagpur Workshop.

Yo, let me tell ya what went down. The train was speeding at 128 kmph, then the loco pilot hit the emergency brake outta nowhere. The loco went all crazy, flew up and jumped on top of the freight train. When it detached, the LVPH Coach got a big jerk, derailed, and caused a domino effect with the other coaches. It was train no 12864 headin' towards HWH. A coach from Coromondel messed up the 2nd and 3rd GS coach of 12864. The last 2 coaches (SLRD, GS) derailed and the 3rd coach took some damage. The loco pilot kinda saved the day by not slamming the emergency brake suddenly, so the rest of 12864 cruised past at 120 kmph without derailing. At Balasore, they detached the 3rd coach from the end. That GS coach is chillin' at KGP workshop now.
