After reading everyone's comment let me say something.i don't care whether adara is important to railways or not.purulia is a city with population of nearly 4-5 lack.it is an important educational hub where all people from whole of the district come to study.it is far bigger than adra anara . Secondly some things are not to be begged but to be snatched.if people of purulia gets United,the train will not even b able to pass through that place until the stoppage is given.do what ever u can.if nessesory than reblel against the govt to get what you should.all those excuses of given by railways are baseless.thirdly if the mp of purulia doesn't have a strong personality.had he the strong personality,then he would have acheaved it at any costs.now it's upon people of purulia whether they will beg or they will snatch. By the way railways is not to serve railway employees...

Sampark kranti skips purulia because norms of sampark kranti say that it will serve it's own state.just like wb sampark kranti skips allahabad and gaya
I disagree with you.value of anara halt is zero.adra doesn't have much patronage for rajdhani.this is the reason the train was reduced by a day.so giving stoppage at anara is useless.
Just because mp of muri approched for the stoppage and jharkhand is a bjp ruled state.pure politics

Train mostly reamain empty until koderma or gaya.no. of people board from adra is quite low.and railway employees boarding with railway pass doesn't provide income to railways

Orissa see jitna Milne ka milta hai.bt adra bakura doesn't provide as much as other halt provide

No man I have borded this train 2weeks ago.only I can understand what headache I had to face.running with 3 big luggage as my assumption of Coach position was wrong due to absence of indicator.buses from purulia to anara are heavily crowded.not possible to board with luggage and family. Had to rent a car paying rs 1500.speaking being a normal passenger.thats why during dussehra I booked my ticket in howrah rajhdhani for convince of my journey. Even proper connectiv trains are absent to anara.
Adra is 40 km away.anara is 30 .not just 5 to 10 km.better to go asansol where connect ivity through train and bus is much better
No brother adra may be a railway divison but is not in match with purulia.purulia has a university,some of the reputed collages of West Bengal.isuch big as a city.all people from adra comes to purulia for educational purpose.shopping in malls.even adra comes under purulia district.just because it is a railway devison doesn't mean it isore important than purulia.
I would request not to loose hope.plzz approach to mp of purulia.it may be fruitful
Sitarampur is also a track changing point that doesn't mean a train will skip asansol and stop at sitarampur.same goes for anara and adra

I don't understand what is ur problem if a train stops in purulia.bokaro have so many primium trains stopping and so many facilities.still u all are hungry for more.durgapur and burdwan which is quite bigger than bokaro still gets ignored by railways in many aspects.still ur not satisfied and always want more.some day u guys will want international airport also.

You should keep in mind that 70 %passenger boarding from adra is from purulia. And purulia is far bigger as a city than adra
