Kapadia ji, you should be knowing why the person is apprehensive in travelling by rajdhani. Everyone knows that Maoists are targetting the rajdhanis on eastern route. Pride trains are one thing and safety is another.
Even railways themselves have issued directives that rajdhanis will travel at a speed of 70km/hr instead of 110km/hr resulting in an addition of 1 hour in the travel time to minimize the damage if the train is derailed.

How much cancellation charge wil be deducted for first AC within 24 hrs of train departure ?? (Online Booked ticket)
For online tickets, cancellation charges for 1AC within 24 hours shall be 25% of the fare subject to the minimum flat rate Rs.70/-.

Can anyone please tell me the condition, in terms of timings and safety as well, of the eastern route after the attacks as I'll be travelling to Sealdah on 08th April with my 8 months old baby.
