Passengers from Katwa and Azimganj have a lackadaisical attitude towards reserved trains. It's mainly Nabadwip and Khagraghat that provides descent reserved passengers in Bdc-AZ section. Khagraghat may provide some descent patronage as it may act as a substitute to the overburdened Bhagirathi exp but Nabadwip already has too many options for Kolkata.
And moreover, the BAK loop along with the Lalgola route as a whole mainly have UR passengers who prefer to travel in minimum fare. That's why when some passenger trains were converted into exp violent protests took place in both these routes. Infact in the Lalgola route, stones were also pelted in trains by a certain community.
