a new train form Trivandrum to Sri ganganagar via Konkan railway/Western railway is essential so that one can reach the destination without changing train at new delhi/delhi. KR route is shorter.

yes this demand is ovrdue and because of different govt heads at two states, proposal is not sailing thru in rlys.
I request if a direct train from Mumbai to jaisalmer is started at the earliest preferably via Ahmedbad. Alternatively, an existing train of mumbai to Ahmedabad can be extended upto Jaisalmer.

it seems rlys need to double this congested route for easy travel.
Himachal express be extended upto Pune as full fledged train with all classes of accomodation and may be run via WR- along Diva Vasai route to Pune. This route is shorter than CR. There is no direct train to Himachal Pradesh form Pune. the train can be terminated at Una in HP

if train passes thru KR , the distance is reduced by about 250 kms. If you use Cr route then again the train will have to pass thru Manmad daund route-which is single line.

Kr route starts from Vasai-diva-Panvel.Now rls have laid a new route for pune from Panvel-whichis called Panvel-karjat Lonavla route. This route reduces congestion of trains at kalyan, besides it reduces distance between Vasai and Pune by 100 kms.

a new train from Pune to Howrah via hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-bhubaneswar-howrah needs to be started in view of the Maoist attack on trains when it passes thru Cahattisgarh. the above route will also take care of passengers on Pune wadi Hyderabad-section.
