If asked to alight or move from the coach, they resort to stone pelting....

This is the news report from the other angle- as appeared in TOI, Kochi edition today:
A fight between Sabarimala pilgrims and local people over the assault of a person who boarded Sabari Express created a ruckus at Shoranur railway station on Friday, leading to disruption of traffic to Malabar region for nearly three hours.
Railway police have arrested two Andhra natives – Rajasekharan (36) and Ramalinga Reddy (48) of Gundoor -- for attacking one Ramachandran (56) of Thiruvananthapuram.

The incident occurred around 2.30pm at Shoranur railway station, resulting in the delay of eight trains. Thrissur railway police sub-inspector Sivadasan said Ramachandran was travelling in a sleeper coach in Sabari Express from Kollam to Shoranur on a sleeper ticket to meet his son studying at Kerala Kalamandalam. A group of Andhra natives boarded the same coach from Thrissur.
He said the pilgrims wanted Ramachandran to leave the coach and the two accused assaulted him when he refused to do so. Ramachandran complained to the railway police when the train reached Shoranur railway station and two were taken into custody. The other pilgrims halted the train, demanding their release, while travellers in other trains quarrelled with them.
They resumed their journey later. On Thursday too, there was a similar incident of Sabarimala pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh assaulting a person in a train at Shoranur railway station.
Sivadasan said a commuter could travel in sleeper coaches between 6am and 9pm on a sleeper ticket as per the rules. The two have been booked under Sections 341, 323 read 34 of the IPC, which will invite three years’ imprisonment and jail term if found guilty.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
