You seem to have gone on wrong track. Are you proposing a sort of confrimation to W/L holders?
not at all my question in a coach you have a 72 seat according to this you fix a some wl tkt with coach no not seat no. in this wl they travel on this manage himself but ir book wl three times more to sl seat. and after all not book wl ticket more than a seating arrangmentin general coach . after all ir take full money but no seat
but if some money is given ....... . you may travel in same coach.
We are also partially to be blamed, since inspite of knowing that wl 1200+ may not be confirmed, we keep buying tickets. thnk of the passenger who has bookd in 1200+ and we hav to ask him as on what basis the passngr takes his tkt with such high wl. there seems to be huge cancellations also in this sector - 1243/1010 - approx 200+ have already cancelled after booking.
Few clarifications:
Many of these passengers will actually travel with waitlist tickets. I also go to my place in Konkan every year for Ganesh festival and there are 40/50 passengers who have wl ticket in every sleeper compartment. This train has 8 SL compartments (for 0103) so there are almost 400 people travelling WL in sleeper class.
Also the train travels 700 KM. Many people who have done bookings get down at Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar and Ratnagiri. No body boards the train at these stations during festival days. Hence WL passengers going...
