Out of some recent blog entries, following issues are arising and on which views of the bloggers are invited.
i) Is the mere trying of different combinations in booking tickets called smart booking ?
(Probable combinations in bookings i) between two desired stations ii) booking by extending intermediate stations on either side or both sides iii) booking by extending either to originating station or to terminating station or both)
ii)...
more... What is “Smart booking” otherwise ?
iii) What are the methods in some trains to get confirmed or RAC bookings while it is showing wait list ?
(May post reply if no trade secret) (Question arising out of entry post #26285-18)
iv) Are these methods one can acquire only through ticket bookings experience ? Are they so spl that not at all possible by reading forum replies, reading Rly published books ?
v) Is the booking so difficult ?
vi) What is the nexus between official info and smart bookings ? If no nexus or if independent, then why being considered ? If nexus, then why to ignore ?
vi) Are the bloggers not in need of Rly system knowledge (theory) and more interested in individual views ?
Inviting views of the bloggers. Thanks.
