After the derailment of 16347, SSE responsible for rail maintenance was suspended. But SSE association came up and said that, the SSE who was suspended had already said that, rail(exactly same spot) was weak, and accident can happen, if not changed. Which higher official had rejected. Along with this statement, they came up with 228 such points, where accidents can happen, if not rail is changed.
As per this report, TVC/SR has decided to impose caution(30kmph) in these spots until issue is rectified. Suspended SSE was taken back to service.
