All of us think that IR trains should run on time.
As we know our infrastructure is not capable of running these trains on time practically.
Also bitter truth is Infrastructure not gonna improve in 2-3 years drastically.
So there should be some other way to runs trains on time.

try to give some suggestions..All railfans are requested to add their as we all know IR closer than other people in country.
1) Reschedule some daily late running trains.
2)As far as I know many trains are getting late due to "Run some big daddy( Such as Rajdhani's ) on time ". So reschedule their time also so it affects more trains.

Yes agree, just take example of 12488/87, it never ever reaches on time always 6-10 hrs late. So, IR should reschedule its travel time frm 24 hrs to 29-30 hrs and also convert it frm SF to Mail/exp. so that passengers don't have to pay rs 15/30/45 extra as super fast charge. And it will also helps to reduce pressure from each zone.

trains get late due to complication of time table due to various categories of trains.
I think there should be only 2 categories of trains in terms of their priority. 1-superfast, 2-passenger.
no shatabdis, no durontos. no GRs, no Skrs etc.
the avg. speed of super fast trains should be min 60 kmph on single line sections, and 100 kmph in double line

sections.
then the capacity of the lines would also increase and punctuality would also improve and the revenues of the railways should also automatically increase by around 10% with same number of trains.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
