any idea as to how do they get info on gender, age, and browsing location ? .......
May be they access some details about our service provider or FB/google plus Ac details

Alexa measures web traffic based on users having installed some toolbar/other Alexa software (which is actually adware), and volunteering to provide their surfing patterns to Alexa. So who would install this toolbar? I myself have never used it. If every single IRI user (or a representative sample) had installed Alexa's software, then maybe the data would be correct.
